Mirella Amato is a proud descendant of the first person ever to brew beer in Canada, Louis Hébert. She likes to think that she is genetically predisposed to champion craft beer. She does this through freelance work in the beer industry, with a focus on public speaking and education. Her work includes guiding a six-hour tour on the brewing history of Toronto, as well as public beer tasting for The Beer Lover’s Tour Company. She also prepares and hosts the beer segments for www.Legourmet.tv. In addition to these collaborations, Mirella enjoys organizing tutored beer-tasting sessions privately.
