Located along the increasingly popular Augusta Ave. strip in Kensington Market, The Embassy Bar (223 Augusta Ave.) is a friendly neighbourhood pub owned by a couple of British ex-pats. The food is sourced primarily from vensors in the Market, and the draught list is focussed on Ontario & Quebec micros, with occassional appearances by good quality imports. Currently on tap:
Denisons Weissbier
McAuslan Cream Ale
McAuslan Oatmeal Stout
King Pilsner
Church Key Holy Smoke
Wellington County Ale
Headstrong Pale Ale
De Koninck
They’re also building a solid bottle list, with the latest additions being the Mort Subite line-up. It’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area and thirsty for a quality brew.
