Fans of craft beer and fine food in Southwestern Ontario should pay a visit to M.E. & Suzie’s, a recently opened restaurant in Port Stanley, a village on the shore of Lake Erie. Their beer list features 30 brews from Ontario Craft Brewers, including two beers – Earl’s Elgin County Auburn Ale and Suzies Light Lakeside Lager – brewed for them exclusively by Better Bitters in Burlington. The kitchen focusses heavily on locally sourced products, and also incorporates beer into many food items including Earl’s Ale & Cheddar Soup, Neustadt 10W30 Beer Bread Dough for their pizzas, Magnotta IPA batter for their fish, and for dessert, the very decadent sounding Mill Street Coffee Porter & Vanilla Ice Cream Float.
