Great Lakes Brewery have announced the release of this year’s edition of their popular summer seasonal, Orange Peel Ale.
Brewed using five specialty malts, five varieties of hops, and plenty of fresh oranges and orange peel, Orange Peel Ale is available now at the brewery in 650ml bottles, and it should be arriving in LCBO stores and on draught at various locations in and around Toronto this week.
Great Lakes has also announced the details of their annual charity BBQ, set to take place on Saturday, May 23 from 12 noon to 6 pm at the Brewery (30 Queen Elizabeth Blvd, near Royal York and the Queensway in Etobicoke).
The event will feature live bands, complimentary soft drinks and food, and lots of beer, including a specialty cask of Orange Peel Ale. Proceeds from all Great Lakes beer sold at the BBQ and LCBO locations on the 23rd will be donated to The Gatehouse, a local charity for abused children.
