Great Canadian Homebrew Conference
June 7th 2008
Time: 10:30 – 4:00 pm (Doors open at 10:00)
Rhino Bar and Grill (1249 Queen Street West)
What goes together after a long Canadian winter better than a sunny patio and a refreshing wheat beer?
This year the Canadian Amateur Brewers Association (CABA) Great Canadian Hombrew Conference will be focusing on Wheat Beer styles and brewing. Michael Hancock, brewmaster at Denison’s, will be discussing his Weissbier and other German Wheat Beer styles. His Weissbier is one of the highest rated beers on ratebeer.com, and not just in the Wheat Beer category, but in the top one percent of all beers on the site.
Lunch (included) will be German themed with wheat beer pairings to highlight the flavours of these refreshing summer beers.
Brewing demonstrations and Q&A on the patio will help you make great wheat beers from all grain or kits.
Tickets for the day are $55 for CABA members or $65 for non-members, and can be purchased via the CABA website.
