Trafalgar Brewing Company would like to invite anyone and everyone to come down to our brewery in Oakville to celebrate Father’s Day with an open house and new beer tasting this Sunday June 18th, from 12 noon until 5 o’clock pm. This will be Trafalgar’s second annual Father’s Day open house, held as a thank you to the community and as a salute to the eternal love affair between Dads and beer. This event is open to the public, features free beer samples, and guided tours of the brewery. Trafalgar’s brewing staff will be on-hand to give guided tours and explain how our beer is made.
This year’s open house comes with an added bonus: the release of Critical Mass, Canada’s strongest beer! Not for the faint of heart, this supercharged ale is double-fermented and brewed in the Belgian style, with bold coriander and citrus notes. Best of all, Critical Mass boasts an impressive 14.7% alc./vol!!! Critical Mass will be the first in Trafalgar’s line of Very Strong Beers, so any public feedback would be greatly appreciated. Snacks and samples of our other beers and meads will also be available throughout the day in the brewery and at our brewpub, The Tied House.
The Trafalgar Brewing Company was founded by Mike and Nancy Arnold and George Hengstman in 1993, and has grown and diversified ever since to become one of Ontario’s most progressive breweries. As a brewer specializing in small batches of unique craft beer, Trafalgar Brewing has the luxury of experimention. With a small pilot plant and lab facility at the brewery, Trafalgar has been able to produce some of the most distinctive and innovative products ever seen on the Canadian beer market.
So grab your Dad and head down to the brewery on Sunday June 18th–it’s more fun than a lousy tie! This special event will be open to everyone and runs between 12:00 noon and 5:00 pm. The brewery is located at 1156 Speers Road (between 3rd and 4th Line) in Oakville; just look for the big glass of beer on the sign.
