C’est What (67 Front Street East) will be holding their 21st Annual Fall Festival Of Craft Breweries on Friday, October 2nd from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
While the line-up is far from complete, there are going to be two notable entries: C’est What Big Butt, the newest seasonal ale made with smoked malt and a touch of fennel seed; and a cask of authentic early-nineteenth century beer from Black Creek Brewery.
The Black Creek offering will be, in the words of their owner, “..a warm, flat, dark lumpy beer… People would have to be forewarned that it was brewed without any electricity and over an open flame so it will not be their normal beer.”
There will be several dozen beers available in all, and as always, there is no admission charge and most samples will cost a loonie. We’ll pass along further details as they become available.
